RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION &amp; CONDUCT<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"887\">We are committed to providing a professional, safe, and welcoming car-rental experience.<\/p><p data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"974\">All customers must communicate calmly, respectfully, and professionally at all times.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"998\"><strong data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"998\">Zero tolerance<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1297\">Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, threats (including legal threats), abusive language, manipulative behaviour, or antisocial conduct toward staff or other customers will result in <strong data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1239\">immediate refusal of service and\/or cancellation<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1273\">no obligation to refund<\/strong> where permitted by law.<\/p><p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1426\">Personal questions or comments regarding staff members\u2019 background, beliefs, identity, or private life are strictly prohibited.<\/p><p data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1452\">We reserve the right to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1571\"><li data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1476\"><p data-start=\"1455\" data-end=\"1476\">End any interaction<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1514\"><p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1514\">Remove a person from the premises<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1545\"><p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1545\">Cancel a confirmed booking<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1571\"><p data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1571\">Refuse future service<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1595\"><strong data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1595\">Office conduct<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1706\">Do not attend our office while intoxicated, impaired, or highly agitated. This may affect eligibility to rent.<\/p><p data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1837\">For hygiene, safety, and comfort, the office door must remain closed. Please knock before entering and close the door behind you.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1842\" \/><h3 data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"1889\"><strong data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1889\">2. COMMUNICATION POLICY (EMAIL, PHONE &amp; CHAT)<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1890\" data-end=\"2006\">Emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages are provided as a courtesy only and are <strong data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2005\">not guaranteed communication channels<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2048\">Misuse includes (but is not limited to):<\/p><ul data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2288\"><li data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2159\"><p data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2159\">Repeated inquiries already answered on our website, booking page, confirmation email, FAQs, or these Terms<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2160\" data-end=\"2206\"><p data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2206\">Abusive, aggressive, or offensive language<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2207\" data-end=\"2246\"><p data-start=\"2209\" data-end=\"2246\">Excessive or unreasonable messaging<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2288\"><p data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2288\">Threatening or manipulative behaviour<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2290\" data-end=\"2321\">We may, at our sole discretion:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2322\" data-end=\"2447\"><li data-start=\"2322\" data-end=\"2378\"><p data-start=\"2324\" data-end=\"2378\">Limit, suspend, or cease phone or chat communication<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2447\"><p data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2447\">Cancel bookings (including fully paid bookings) <strong data-start=\"2429\" data-end=\"2447\">without refund<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1257\">Response timing:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1260\" \/>Messages sent significantly in advance of the booking date are reviewed closer to the booking period. For bookings more than one week away, responses may be provided <strong data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1476\">2\u20133 days prior to the scheduled pick-up date<\/strong>. This does not constitute refusal of communication.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2449\" data-end=\"2452\" \/><h3 data-start=\"2454\" data-end=\"2487\"><strong data-start=\"2457\" data-end=\"2487\">3. BOOKINGS &amp; CONFIRMATION<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2608\"><li data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2532\"><p data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2532\">We do <strong data-start=\"2496\" data-end=\"2503\">not<\/strong> accept unpaid reservations<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2533\" data-end=\"2608\"><p data-start=\"2535\" data-end=\"2608\">Vehicles are provided <strong data-start=\"2557\" data-end=\"2565\">only<\/strong> for fully prepaid and confirmed bookings<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2610\" data-end=\"2752\">After completing online booking and payment, an automated confirmation email is sent within <strong data-start=\"2702\" data-end=\"2714\">1\u20133 days<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"2715\" data-end=\"2718\" \/>Check both Inbox and Spam folders.<\/p><p data-start=\"2754\" data-end=\"2868\">If payment was charged but no confirmation email is received within 3 days, contact us via email or WhatsApp with:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2869\" data-end=\"2925\"><li data-start=\"2869\" data-end=\"2887\"><p data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2887\">Booking number<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2888\" data-end=\"2907\"><p data-start=\"2890\" data-end=\"2907\">Vehicle details<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2908\" data-end=\"2925\"><p data-start=\"2910\" data-end=\"2925\">Booking dates<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>3A. WALK-IN ENQUIRIES<\/strong><\/h3><p>Walk-in enquiries are served subject to immediate vehicle availability only.<br \/>VPC does not guarantee vehicle availability without a confirmed and fully prepaid online booking.<br \/>If no suitable vehicle is available at the time of enquiry, VPC is under no obligation to provide alternatives.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2927\" data-end=\"2930\" \/><h3 data-start=\"2932\" data-end=\"2959\"><strong data-start=\"2935\" data-end=\"2959\">4. CHARGES &amp; PAYMENT<\/strong><\/h3><h3 data-start=\"2960\" data-end=\"2983\"><strong data-start=\"2964\" data-end=\"2983\">Rental charging<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3053\">Rental fees are charged <strong data-start=\"3008\" data-end=\"3028\">per calendar day<\/strong>, not per 24-hour period.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"3055\" data-end=\"3070\"><strong data-start=\"3059\" data-end=\"3070\">Pricing<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"3071\" data-end=\"3080\">We offer:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3127\"><li data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3098\"><p data-start=\"3083\" data-end=\"3098\">Weekday rates<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3127\"><p data-start=\"3101\" data-end=\"3127\">Discounted weekend rates<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"3129\" data-end=\"3144\"><strong data-start=\"3133\" data-end=\"3144\">Payment<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"3145\" data-end=\"3307\"><li data-start=\"3145\" data-end=\"3194\"><p data-start=\"3147\" data-end=\"3194\">Full payment is required to confirm a booking<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3195\" data-end=\"3264\"><p data-start=\"3197\" data-end=\"3264\">We use a secure online payment gateway with a leading Tongan bank<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3265\" data-end=\"3307\"><p data-start=\"3267\" data-end=\"3307\">Online payment is our preferred method<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3309\" data-end=\"3312\" \/><h3 data-start=\"3314\" data-end=\"3354\"><strong data-start=\"3317\" data-end=\"3354\">5. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY &amp; DOCUMENTS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"3355\" data-end=\"3388\">You must provide the original of:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3389\" data-end=\"3465\"><li data-start=\"3389\" data-end=\"3416\"><p data-start=\"3391\" data-end=\"3416\">A valid passport and\/or<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3417\" data-end=\"3465\"><p data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3465\">A valid full (unrestricted) driver\u2019s license<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3467\" data-end=\"3476\">You must:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3477\" data-end=\"3621\"><li data-start=\"3477\" data-end=\"3509\"><p data-start=\"3479\" data-end=\"3509\">Be at least <strong data-start=\"3491\" data-end=\"3507\">21 years old<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3562\"><p data-start=\"3512\" data-end=\"3562\">Have a minimum of <strong data-start=\"3530\" data-end=\"3560\">3 years driving experience<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3563\" data-end=\"3621\"><p data-start=\"3565\" data-end=\"3621\">Carry your driver\u2019s license at all times while driving<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3623\" data-end=\"3626\" \/><h3 data-start=\"3628\" data-end=\"3654\"><strong data-start=\"3631\" data-end=\"3654\">6. INSURANCE &amp; BOND<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"3655\" data-end=\"3715\">We offer four (4) insurance options, explained per vehicle.<\/p><p data-start=\"3717\" data-end=\"3789\">Insurance is <strong data-start=\"3730\" data-end=\"3743\">mandatory<\/strong> for renters traveling with children under 12.<\/p><p data-start=\"3844\" data-end=\"3912\">Insurance is mandatory for renters arriving by a cruise ship.<\/p><p data-start=\"3914\" data-end=\"3942\">For other clients- if no insurance is selected:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3820\" data-end=\"3861\"><li data-start=\"3820\" data-end=\"3861\"><p data-start=\"3822\" data-end=\"3861\">A mandatory bond of <strong data-start=\"3842\" data-end=\"3851\">T$550<\/strong> applies<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"3863\" data-end=\"3886\"><strong data-start=\"3867\" data-end=\"3886\">Damage handling<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"3887\" data-end=\"4008\"><li data-start=\"3887\" data-end=\"3925\"><p data-start=\"3889\" data-end=\"3925\">Repairs are deducted from the bond<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3926\" data-end=\"3956\"><p data-start=\"3928\" data-end=\"3956\">Unused balance is refunded<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3957\" data-end=\"4008\"><p data-start=\"3959\" data-end=\"4008\">Costs exceeding T$550 are payable by the renter<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"4010\" data-end=\"4013\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4015\" data-end=\"4054\"><strong data-start=\"4018\" data-end=\"4054\">7. RECEIVING YOUR RENTAL VEHICLE<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"4055\" data-end=\"4117\">Pick-up instructions are provided <strong data-start=\"4089\" data-end=\"4116\">1\u20132 days before arrival<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"4055\" data-end=\"4117\"><strong>Clients arriving by a cruise ship are collecting their rentals from the office.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4055\" data-end=\"4117\">Clients arriving by an interisland ferry are picked up from the domestic wharf.<\/p><p data-start=\"4055\" data-end=\"4117\">In the international and domestic airports, vehicles are collected from designated locations only.<\/p><p data-start=\"4119\" data-end=\"4219\"><strong data-start=\"4170\" data-end=\"4219\">We do not collect from airport arrival areas.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4221\" data-end=\"4334\">The first <strong data-start=\"4231\" data-end=\"4241\">1 hour<\/strong> after the scheduled pick-up time is complimentary.<\/p><p data-start=\"4221\" data-end=\"4334\">After that, <strong data-start=\"4307\" data-end=\"4325\">T$100 per hour<\/strong> applies.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4336\" data-end=\"4339\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4341\" data-end=\"4368\"><strong data-start=\"4344\" data-end=\"4368\">8. AIRPORT TRANSFERS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"4369\" data-end=\"4452\">Complimentary airport transfer applies <strong data-start=\"4408\" data-end=\"4416\">only<\/strong> for bookings of <strong data-start=\"4433\" data-end=\"4451\">2 days or more<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"4454\" data-end=\"4474\">For one-day rentals:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4475\" data-end=\"4568\"><li data-start=\"4475\" data-end=\"4531\"><p data-start=\"4477\" data-end=\"4531\">Vehicle must be collected and returned to our office<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4532\" data-end=\"4568\"><p data-start=\"4534\" data-end=\"4568\">Airport transfer is not included<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4570\" data-end=\"4624\">Transfers outside booking dates are not complimentary.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4626\" data-end=\"4629\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4631\" data-end=\"4672\"><strong data-start=\"4634\" data-end=\"4672\">9. AIRPORT DROP-OFF (SELF-DRIVING)<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"4673\" data-end=\"4713\">When returning at the airport, you must:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4714\" data-end=\"4988\"><li data-start=\"4714\" data-end=\"4749\"><p data-start=\"4716\" data-end=\"4749\">Park in the designated location<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4750\" data-end=\"4791\"><p data-start=\"4752\" data-end=\"4791\">Pay parking directly to the attendant<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4792\" data-end=\"4836\"><p data-start=\"4794\" data-end=\"4836\">Return fuel at the same level as pick-up<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4837\" data-end=\"4866\"><p data-start=\"4839\" data-end=\"4866\">Remove all personal items<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4867\" data-end=\"4911\"><p data-start=\"4869\" data-end=\"4911\">Leave the vehicle clean and rubbish-free<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4912\" data-end=\"4941\"><p data-start=\"4914\" data-end=\"4941\">Return keys as instructed<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4942\" data-end=\"4988\"><p data-start=\"4944\" data-end=\"4988\">Leave the parking receipt on the dashboard<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4990\" data-end=\"5045\">Failure to comply may affect future rental eligibility.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5047\" data-end=\"5050\" \/><h3 data-start=\"5052\" data-end=\"5080\"><strong data-start=\"5055\" data-end=\"5080\">10. VEHICLE CUSTODY DURING YOUR RENTAL<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">For the safety of our vehicles and clarity of responsibility, VPC vehicles must remain under VPC custody whenever a renter is not present on Tongatapu.<\/p><p data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">If, during your rental period, you plan to:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">travel to another island,<br \/>leave Tonga temporarily,<\/li><li data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">stay overnight elsewhere without the vehicle,<\/li><li data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">or are otherwise unable to retain direct custody of the vehicle,<\/li><\/ul><p>the vehicle must be returned to the VPC office car park, and the keys handed back to our team, for the duration of your absence.<\/p><p>VPC vehicles are not to be left unattended at airports, ferry terminals, workplaces, accommodations, or public areas unless expressly agreed in advance.<\/p><p>If you have a flight, ferry, or scheduled departure, please inform us ahead of time.<\/p><p>We are happy to:<\/p><ul><li>arrange return of the vehicle,<br \/>assist with transport to the airport or wharf,<\/li><li>or help coordinate a smooth handover.<\/li><\/ul><p>Our aim is safety, accountability, and continuity of service.<\/p><hr data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"752\" \/><h3 style=\"color: #0c142e; font-family: Lexend; font-weight: 600;\" data-start=\"5052\" data-end=\"5080\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\" data-start=\"5055\" data-end=\"5080\">11. VEHICLE CONDITION<\/span><\/h3><p data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5355\">Vehicles are supplied clean, fueled, roadworthy, and mechanically sound at the start of the rental period. Minor cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, or age-related marks do not affect vehicle performance and are\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\" data-start=\"5290\" data-end=\"5354\">not grounds for complaint, exchange, refund, or cancellation<\/span>.<\/p><p data-start=\"5357\" data-end=\"5520\">The renter confirms acceptance of the vehicle\u2019s condition at pick-up. Failure to raise issues\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\" data-start=\"5451\" data-end=\"5471\">before departure<\/span>\u00a0is deemed acceptance of the vehicle as provided.<\/p><p data-start=\"5522\" data-end=\"5683\">Vehicles are photographed and\/or video-recorded before and after each rental. These records may be used to assess condition, cleanliness, fuel level, and damage.<\/p><hr style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" data-start=\"5685\" data-end=\"5688\" \/><h3 data-start=\"5690\" data-end=\"5732\"><strong data-start=\"5693\" data-end=\"5732\">12. VEHICLE EXCHANGE &amp; SUBSTITUTION<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"5733\" data-end=\"5836\">Exchanges or upgrades are <strong data-start=\"5759\" data-end=\"5774\">not granted<\/strong> for personal preference, cosmetic reasons, or change of mind.<\/p><p data-start=\"5838\" data-end=\"5962\">An exchange may be considered only if a verified mechanical fault materially affects safe operation and is confirmed by VPC.<\/p><p data-start=\"5964\" data-end=\"6202\">VPC reserves the right to substitute a booked vehicle with a <strong data-start=\"6025\" data-end=\"6060\">similar or higher-class vehicle<\/strong> if the original vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. This does <strong data-start=\"6148\" data-end=\"6155\">not<\/strong> constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.<\/p><p data-start=\"6204\" data-end=\"6290\">Tire damage, punctures, and road-related incidents remain the renter\u2019s responsibility.<\/p><hr data-start=\"6292\" data-end=\"6295\" \/><h3 data-start=\"6297\" data-end=\"6330\"><strong data-start=\"6300\" data-end=\"6330\">13. DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"6331\" data-end=\"6533\">The renter and Primary Driver are responsible for <strong data-start=\"6381\" data-end=\"6395\">all damage<\/strong>, including but not limited to:<br \/>Collision, rollover, theft, tire damage, vandalism, fire, flood, medical incidents, and natural disasters.<\/p><p data-start=\"6535\" data-end=\"6553\">In case of damage:<\/p><ul data-start=\"6554\" data-end=\"6626\"><li data-start=\"6554\" data-end=\"6597\"><p data-start=\"6556\" data-end=\"6597\">Call Tonga Police (<strong data-start=\"6575\" data-end=\"6582\">922<\/strong>) immediately<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6598\" data-end=\"6626\"><p data-start=\"6600\" data-end=\"6626\">Notify VPC without delay<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"6628\" data-end=\"6691\">Failure to follow this procedure may affect insurance coverage.<\/p><hr data-start=\"6693\" data-end=\"6696\" \/><h3 data-start=\"6698\" data-end=\"6741\"><strong data-start=\"6701\" data-end=\"6741\">14. PET-FRIENDLY RENTALS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"7261\" data-end=\"7296\">Pets are welcome with prior notice.<\/p><p data-start=\"7298\" data-end=\"7334\">A complimentary pet kit is provided.<\/p><p data-start=\"7336\" data-end=\"7425\">If the vehicle does not meet return cleaning standards, a <strong data-start=\"7394\" data-end=\"7416\">T$150 cleaning fee<\/strong> applies.<\/p><hr data-start=\"7427\" data-end=\"7430\" \/><h3 data-start=\"7432\" data-end=\"7457\"><strong data-start=\"7435\" data-end=\"7457\">17. PERSONAL ITEMS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"7458\" data-end=\"7493\">Vehicles are inspected at drop-off.<\/p><p data-start=\"7495\" data-end=\"7509\">Item recovery:<\/p><ul data-start=\"7510\" data-end=\"7585\"><li data-start=\"7510\" data-end=\"7539\"><p data-start=\"7512\" data-end=\"7539\">Local delivery: <strong data-start=\"7528\" data-end=\"7537\">T$100<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"7540\" data-end=\"7585\"><p data-start=\"7542\" data-end=\"7585\">International courier: fees apply (prepaid)<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"7587\" data-end=\"7632\">VPC is not responsible for items left behind.<\/p><hr data-start=\"7634\" data-end=\"7637\" \/><h3 data-start=\"7639\" data-end=\"7675\"><strong data-start=\"7642\" data-end=\"7675\">18. FINES, TICKETS &amp; OFFENCES<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"7676\" data-end=\"7825\">The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, tolls, impound fees, or legal penalties incurred during the rental period.<\/p><p data-start=\"7827\" data-end=\"7879\">An administration fee may apply for fine processing.<\/p><hr data-start=\"7881\" data-end=\"7884\" \/><h3 data-start=\"7886\" data-end=\"7904\"><strong data-start=\"7889\" data-end=\"7904\">19. REFUNDS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"7905\" data-end=\"7934\">Refund requests must include:<\/p><ul data-start=\"7935\" data-end=\"7980\"><li data-start=\"7935\" data-end=\"7958\"><p data-start=\"7937\" data-end=\"7958\">Written explanation<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"7959\" data-end=\"7980\"><p data-start=\"7961\" data-end=\"7980\">Supporting photos<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"7982\" data-end=\"8021\">Refunds may take <strong data-start=\"7999\" data-end=\"8020\">5\u20137 business days<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"8023\" data-end=\"8116\">Advance booking refunds are <strong data-start=\"8051\" data-end=\"8067\">partial only<\/strong> if cancelled <strong data-start=\"8081\" data-end=\"8100\">45 working days<\/strong> before pick-up.<\/p><hr data-start=\"8118\" data-end=\"8121\" \/><h3 data-start=\"8123\" data-end=\"8147\"><strong data-start=\"8126\" data-end=\"8147\">20. SECOND DRIVER<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"8148\" data-end=\"8217\">Only the Primary Driver may drive unless a Second Driver is approved.<\/p><p data-start=\"8219\" data-end=\"8246\">Second Driver requirements:<\/p><ul data-start=\"8247\" data-end=\"8331\"><li data-start=\"8247\" data-end=\"8273\"><p data-start=\"8249\" data-end=\"8273\">Original valid license<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"8274\" data-end=\"8292\"><p data-start=\"8276\" data-end=\"8292\">Minimum age 21<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"8293\" data-end=\"8331\"><p data-start=\"8295\" data-end=\"8331\">Minimum 3 years driving experience<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"8333\" data-end=\"8336\" \/><h3 data-start=\"8338\" data-end=\"8372\"><strong data-start=\"8341\" data-end=\"8372\">21. PICK-UP &amp; DROP-OFF TIME<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"8373\" data-end=\"8398\">Charged per calendar day.<\/p><p data-start=\"8400\" data-end=\"8433\">Early returns are non-refundable.<\/p><p data-start=\"8435\" data-end=\"8485\">Late returns incur an <strong data-start=\"8457\" data-end=\"8484\">additional daily charge<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"8487\" data-end=\"8664\">VPC reserves the right to refuse handover if the renter appears intoxicated, impaired, aggressive, or unfit to safely operate the vehicle. No refund is guaranteed in such cases.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"8487\" data-end=\"8664\"><strong>21A. SUNDAY &amp; PUBLIC HOLIDAY RESTRICTIONS<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3><p data-start=\"8487\" data-end=\"8664\">Vehicle handovers (pick-up or drop-off), in-person transactions, and commencement or conclusion of any Rental Agreement are not conducted on Sundays in compliance with the laws of the Kingdom of Tonga.<br \/>Where a booking period includes a Sunday, the rental period remains charged per calendar day, as the vehicle is allocated exclusively to the renter and is unavailable for other bookings.<br \/>No exceptions are made.<\/p><hr data-start=\"8666\" data-end=\"8669\" \/><h3 data-start=\"8671\" data-end=\"8710\"><strong data-start=\"8674\" data-end=\"8710\">22. ROAD SAFETY &amp; PROHIBITED USE<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"8711\" data-end=\"8724\">Speed limits:<\/p><ul data-start=\"8725\" data-end=\"8776\"><li data-start=\"8725\" data-end=\"8753\"><p data-start=\"8727\" data-end=\"8753\">Residential: <strong data-start=\"8740\" data-end=\"8751\">45 km\/h<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"8754\" data-end=\"8776\"><p data-start=\"8756\" data-end=\"8776\">Freeway: <strong data-start=\"8765\" data-end=\"8776\">70 km\/h<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"8778\" data-end=\"8850\">Seatbelts are mandatory.<br data-start=\"8802\" data-end=\"8805\" \/>Mobile phone use while driving is prohibited.<\/p><p data-start=\"8852\" data-end=\"8919\">Alcohol, smoking, and drug use in vehicles are strictly prohibited.<\/p><p data-start=\"8921\" data-end=\"8971\">Violations may incur penalties of up to <strong data-start=\"8961\" data-end=\"8970\">T$500<\/strong>.<\/p><hr data-start=\"8973\" data-end=\"8976\" \/><h3 data-start=\"8978\" data-end=\"9008\"><strong data-start=\"8981\" data-end=\"9008\">23. UNAUTHORISED DRIVER<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"442\" data-end=\"541\">Only the Primary Driver listed may drive the vehicle unless a Second Driver is approved in advance.<\/p><p data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"759\"><strong data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"630\">Unauthorised driving does not require physical, photographic, or documentary proof.<\/strong><br data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"633\" \/><strong data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"759\">A credible testimony from a trusted eyewitness or an authorised representative of VPC is sufficient to establish a breach.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"833\">Any unauthorised driver constitutes a serious breach and will result in:<\/p><p data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1028\">\u2022 Immediate termination of the rental<br data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"875\" \/>\u2022 Immediate repossession (where possible)<br data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"919\" \/>\u2022 No refund<br data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"933\" \/>\u2022 Full liability for all damages, losses, fines, and costs<br data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"994\" \/>\u2022 Voidance of insurance coverage<\/p><p data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1105\">The renter remains fully liable for the actions of any unauthorised driver.<\/p><hr data-start=\"9455\" data-end=\"9458\" \/><h3 data-start=\"9460\" data-end=\"9493\"><strong data-start=\"9463\" data-end=\"9493\">24. GPS &amp; VEHICLE TRACKING<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"9494\" data-end=\"9669\">Some vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking for security, recovery, and insurance purposes. By renting from VPC, you consent to such use in accordance with applicable law.<\/p><hr data-start=\"9671\" data-end=\"9674\" \/><h3 data-start=\"9676\" data-end=\"9700\"><strong data-start=\"9679\" data-end=\"9700\">25. FORCE MAJEURE<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"9701\" data-end=\"9974\">VPC is not liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to provide a vehicle due to events beyond our reasonable control, including weather events, natural disasters, fuel shortages, government actions, road closures, or mechanical failures beyond reasonable maintenance.<\/p><p data-start=\"9976\" data-end=\"10039\">No compensation or refund is guaranteed unless required by law.<\/p><hr data-start=\"10041\" data-end=\"10044\" \/><h3 data-start=\"10046\" data-end=\"10066\"><strong data-start=\"10049\" data-end=\"10066\">26. NO WAIVER<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"10067\" data-end=\"10184\">Failure by VPC to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.<\/p><hr data-start=\"10186\" data-end=\"10189\" \/><h3 data-start=\"10191\" data-end=\"10222\"><strong data-start=\"10194\" data-end=\"10222\">27.
