Vehicle is supplied with a confirmed fuel level and must be returned with the same level.

Tyres & Responsibility When Driving (click to see)
Tyres damage are the renter’s responsibility unless covered by Loss, Damage, Partial Damage, or Child Insurance.
Road-related incidents, damages to the mirrors, windows, and underbody are not considered mechanical faults.

Insurance Policy (click to see)
We offer 4 types of insurance in form of one-time non-refundable payment.
Loss, Damage
Fixed non-refundable payment, charged for an entire rental period: if the rental vehicle is operated under the VPC Rental Agreement, VCP assumes responsibility for:
- flat tyre,
- lost key,
- broken mirror,
- minor damage to the numberplate or missing numberplate,
- minor damage to the bumper,
- minor scratch to the paint,
- minor dent on the body.
LOSS, DAMAGE DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE OTHER PARTY’S PROPERTY.
Partial Damage
Fixed non-refundable payment, charged for each day of the rental period: if the rental vehicle is operated under the VPC Rental Agreement, VCP assumes responsibility for:
- flat tyre,
- lost key,
- minor damage to the numberplate,
- minor damage to the bumper,
- minor scratch to the paint,
- minor dent on the body.
PARTIAL DAMAGE DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE OTHER PARTY’S PROPERTY.
Child Insurance
Fixed non-refundable payment, charged for each day of the rental period which includes a child safety seat if requested: if the rental vehicle is operated under the VPC Rental Agreement, VCP assumes responsibility for:
- any damage to the seat covers,
- any damage to the internal parts of the doors, and the door handles from inside,
- any damage to the child seat (included in the insurance),
- flat tyre,
- lost key,
- minor damage to the numberplate,
- minor damage to the bumper,
- minor scratch to the paint,
- minor dent on the body.
CHILD INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE OTHER PARTY’S PROPERTY.
CHILD INSURANCE IS MANDATORY FOR TRAVELERS WITH CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 12 YO.
Cruise Insurance
Fixed non-refundable payment.
Covers used petrol for a day: if the rental vehicle is operated under the VPC Rental Agreement, VCP assumes responsibility for:
- minor damage to the numberplate,
- minor damage to the bumper,
- minor scratch to the paint,
- minor dent on the body.
CRUISE INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE OTHER PARTY’S PROPERTY.
CRUISE INSURANCE IS MANDATORY FOR TRAVELERS WHO VISIT TONGA ON ANY CRUISE SHIP- PASSENGERS, RESIDENTS, AND CREW MEMBERS.
Mandatory Insurance Note (click to see)
Insurance is mandatory for the following bookings:
- divers traveling with children aged 12 years or under;
- cruise ship passengers, long-term vessel residents, cruise ship crew members;
- any booking where mandatory insurance is indicated on the website.
Failure to complete mandatory insurance requirements at booking or at vehicle handover will result in refusal of vehicle release.
All payments are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.
